"...just a girl from a little island who wants to change the world"
If I had to describe myself in one sentence I would say that I’m just a girl from a little island who wants to change the world. Born in St. Kitts and Nevis and raised in Toronto, I’ve always had a deep desire to help others. I have spent the last decade working for global nonprofit organizations serving the needs of women and young people around the world. I’ve been afforded amazing opportunities to travel the world and remain in awe of the beauty and kindness of people I've encountered along the way.
I’m a dreamer and an incautious optimist always searching for opportunities to combine my passions for social justice, storytelling, and supporting other women and girls to fulfil their full potential.
When I'm not working on a film project or planning my next workshop, I enjoy globetrotting with my adventure partner, reading anything by Roxane Gay, and laughing embarrassingly hard at my own jokes.
You dream it.
I'll help you work hard, grind, til you own it
I'm passionate about helping entrepreneurs achieve maximum impact through their work, and I especially enjoy working with self-identified women of colour.
If you are a creative with a brilliant idea in need of some strategic direction and structure, let's talk. Bonus points if you get excited about problem solving through hands on activities, copious amounts of sticky notes, and putting colourful markers to poster-sized pieces of paper.
On my own I'm a skilled workshop facilitator and project manager. Alongside my co-founder and co-conspirator Simone Ince, I am one half of Ince & West, providing a suite of services to creative folks from marketing and strategy to customer experience and impact measurement.
